Default Bose Acoustimass 15 series I and 6 ser III input cables - Interchangeable?

Hi,
Does anyone out there with some Bose inside information know if the
input cable (the one that goes beetween the receiver and the
Acoustimass module) is wired the same for the
AM 15 Series I and the AM 6 Series III? They both LOOK that same, but I
don't want to cook the receiver with a bad assumption. All Bose wants
to tell me is that they show different part numbers for each. I would
need to buy both service manuals to check for myself. -- NOT! I have a
AM15, and want to test a used AM 6 module before I buy it used. Thanks
in advance!
