I bought some heavy duty component cables, thinking they would offer a
better quality picture.
I replaced every cable labelled them and made them nice and organized
I get all cables connected and feed them over the back of shelf and
get them all lined up so I can connect them to my five video devices.
When I turn the receiver back they tend to fall of because they are so
heavy.
, Is there a way to secure them?

There are clips you can buy. Maybe some wire loom would work for you.

Wire looms: Actually that is a great idea..it never occurred to me,
I'll get those tomorrow, I've seen those and always thought they were
redundant.
