As brief question for the group.
I have an Outlaw Audio Model 950 processor which I am generally very
pleased with.
One feature that it lacks is the ability to record from one source
while watching another. This was a feature I had become accustomed to
with my old Marantz AV-600.
Can anybody suggest a processor in the $1,000 to $1,500 range that has
this feature.
Sorry but the outlaw is a real unicorn, you wont find a decent processor in
that price range OUTSIDE OF IT, but they had to cut a few corners like the
one you describe. You want this feature you'll probably need to go the
receiver route, get a really nice one that can double as a pre-pro.
I have an Integra that I hope to mate to some decent amps someday. Its
recording functions are exelent and easy to use. Its really come in handy
as I convert my collection of s-vhs to DVD
