Hi Everyone,
I am the CEO of Sentor (and Thinkboxx). We were the OTHER license holder of the Smart Company System ( Minder, Thinkboxx and Sentor). Please be advised that our company has NO ties to the Greek owned Smart Company in South Australia. We presently hold over $1m worth of Thinkboxx/Minder Stock and we continue to develop and support the product. We hold the source code for the software (4.0.4) which we can change or add to if necessary.
We are also the Trade Mark owners of the name THINKBOXX which allows us to market and trade exclusively the software and hardware under this name plus the Sentor Name.
Please go to www.thinkboxx.com and direct your support or sales enquiries to enquiry@thinkboxx.com. or call us on 02 4362 7500 in Australia or the USA Los Angeles +1 310 464 1604
Today we cannot supply the C-Bus Sim Card but we are working on it now.
We are building a brand new PC104 based system which will contain full support for Clipsal C-Bus. This product is tagged for released late 2008.
Please do not hesitate to call us for support.
Kindest Regards

Hi,
The 4.1.0 was done by the greeks and is not available to us ( or it appears anyone). We are a completly seperate entity that can support the software from 4.0.4 if required. There is a new package being worked on ( .net C++, WinCE etc....) for the new controller which will exhibit much the same type of programming stucture but a lot more modern.
If you have bugs then we would be glad to look at them if they are important to you for the sales process. If you can't live with the bugs ( whatever they may be) I would be glad to know what they are please.
Yes we can supply Thinkboxx Controllers (300 in stock) Expansion Cards, Keypads ( Horizontel & Vertical) , Telephone support cards and a brand new Weigand Reader Interface, plus ST1100 Internet Boxes which allows serial to ethernet and a static IP Address for Web Access.
We also have Computer Software which allows for Network Monitoring of multiple Thinkboxx/Sentor boxes which has Trending, email, sms and even pager alerting capability.
We have a fully operational 24/7 Monitoring Centre in both Australia and America which we can offer to any Home Minder/Thinkboxx/Sentor/Honeywell customers plus very very competitive rates for you security applications.
If you want to measure Power, we also have external software that can calibrate power couplers as well.
We now manufacture the replacement of the Clipsal Minder Temperature Sensor except it is much more accurate.
Thinkboxx 4.0.4 is exactly the same as the Minder software so you can still run with that software.
The only thing we don't do is the C-Bus Sim as of today, but we are working on it.
Best Regards

Really need to have all the mods in 4.0.6 this is the first version when the keypads work fast but you can only use the 1.9 keyboard hardware also the 2 way audio on the phone card works.
Where can we find info on.
"We also have Computer Software which allows for Network Monitoring of multiple Thinkboxx/Sentor boxes which has Trending, email, sms and even pager alerting capability"
I would like to trend analogue inputs
What I really wants is the ability to send analogue input values (after scaling) out on cbus.

4.0.6 was again the development by the Greeks that appear to have gone into dust.
Some Questions for Everyone Please.
1. If you are proposing (as a group) to re-sell Thinkboxx, then do we need the C-Bus support ????
2. Why would you sell Thinkboxx in preference to the Clipsal Pack Controller
3. Do you need support for the Minder Systems
4. How is the home automation market looking at this time
We can do Trending on Analogue inputs but sending it to C-Bus would be something we would need to look to see if it's worth the programming time to do. The one reason why Smart went broke was that the costs of development was never funded by associated market sales.
Just improving and developing things without a return on the investment is not good business sense. If there is a market for it and we can see a return then we will look at it for sure.
All that being said we are here to support the existing controllers when needed.
Our new PC104 based product ( The ST7000) is coming along with touch screens and all the rest of the good things but this will take some time to get there yet.
Regards
Bob

4. How is the home automation market looking at this time
1. Without full 2 ways comms to C-Bus, I think the thinkboxx market would be limited.
2. A very good point. The Thnkboxx does it all in one box, and does it well.
3. Do you mean, as in the old Clipsal Minder?
4. Depends on the country, and even State in Australia for that matter. Overall, healthy would be the best description.
