I am looking for some suggestion on a touch screen to use for my X10
automation. I have almost every switch and plug in my house converted
to X10. I now want to have a sexy touch screen display to control
things from the main entry.
Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the ADI Leopard?

This unit requires being plugged into a TW523 or equiv. X10 transmitter I/F.
Did I read that correctly?

Yes, it needs a powerline interface.

I think the OP's specs call for a touch screen. I don't recall seeing
anything X-10 makes that fits that description for $10. Or fits that
description for any $.

Most touch screens that control things are remotes and do not have wires
attached to them.
OP would have to clarify further.
