I search for a electronic plan to build an x-10 computer interface,
like cm11a,cm15 or any RS-232 interface that can send signal from
computer to x-10.
Thanks

er, why not use a CM11 or the newer USB equivalents?

Use an x10 firecracker (cm17). About half way down the below page
has some info on computer/web control of the firecracker.

The firecracker only sends RF signals. There would have to be an RF
receiver to pick them up and retransmit them as X-10 power line signals.
The firecracker alone isn't enough. That and since it's not a 'normal'
serial device it may not be suitable for many newer model PC and USB-based
serial ports.

.. . . or build your own using a TW523 to send/receive X10 signals. My
new interface uses a TW523, a touchtone receiver chip (to receive
commands entered from a couple dozen TT pads around the house) and a
PIC chip that does the communication among the '523, the TT chip and he
PC. Since I have cable internet (and am retired, hence around the
house a lot), the PC is on all day, so I just leave it on for the
additional 7 hours of sleep time. The CRT shuts down, so the bare PC
is not significant on my PG&E bill.

That's hardly a limitation. To me it's a plus, because you can plug
the reciever wherever you want, and you don't have to worry about
"Signals from this outlet don't make it to that outlet because they're
on different legs", or going through power strips, etc.
Remarkably, the Firecracker's signal runs all throughout my house. from
the second floor to the basement.

I use a Firecracker on my laptop through a Sewell serial to USB
converter. Works very reliably.
