Just got an outdoor wireless speaker (AR AW811-which works fairly well
for what it is, BTW) and would like to hook it up to my Yamaha A/V unit
so that I can get sound from the O/D speaker and from the main unit's
speaker at the same time. Presently, I am simply hooking the O/D into
the front panel headphone jack, this allows only the O/D to play. I do
have a male "Y" adapter cable. Thanks for your help.

Will the transmitter not accept a line-level input? Usually you connect
these things to a "tape out" on the receiver.
This will only work with analog sources, of course, but most digital sources
also have analog outputs that you can connect simultaneously, and you'd
simply use those when you want the wireless speakers on.

Thanks, Rich. I think that is what I'll try, "tape out."
