They are offering up to $1000 Trade in, Do they have a set price depending
on what the TV is, and does anyone have the details?

Trade-in deals are cons - the desired profit margin is never dependant on
the retailer 'selling on' or making any money on the traded goods - if your
lucky the resell value of used goods is around 5% of the original wholesale
price.
You would do better to just barter with cash - I recently bought a high end
vacuum cleaner from HN, they were offering $200 for a trade in, I didn't
have a trade in to offer, guess what they gave me $200 off a non existent
trade in, whilst some sucker next to me dragged in a barrel vacuum cleaner,
suppose he didn't have to leave it out with the rubbish....
Same crap goes on with "interest free" it's built in to the price they are
willing to sell at.
