My Toshiba TV 20AF42 keeps shutting off.
Is this some sort of power problem ?

More information needed. What's the TV plugged into? What's that
plugged into and what else is plugged into that? Have you tried another
TV on this circuit?

Yep, something is shorting out and causing your set to turn off, something
modern sets do, as opposed to older sets that just blew up or caught fire,
which was a bit if a problem.
Dont use this set until you have it checked out, on the other hand it is a
toshiba, so look for even more problems down the road. I wouldnt own a blow
dryer made by these dandies
