Hi Folks
A friend has just had a Clipsal Starserver installed and apparently all you need to get the data side up and running is a computer person. Well, that's me and I can't get it to work. I did an ipconfig /all and it came back with 10.0.0.138 as the network address. The server could see me plug in the laptop but I couldn't ping the server. There was no discernible network activity. I checked this across several points in the house.
Also, from reading the very short manual, it seems that all you need to do to distribute the broadband is simply plug it into the system as all ports are both up and down. I tried that, nothing again but the server could see that something was connected.
All help appreciated.
