FYI....
If you guys are running WIN XP and you have a NETGEAR FA311 network card.
Chuck it in the bin.
I have just found out that my ADSL modem/router/switch "lockup" problems
are caused by that particular card.
The gaming site i use lists various problems caused by the card and I confirm
that all reported errors were experienced by me.
Bought a new PCI- network card ( no name- $15AUD) problem fixed.
In NETGEAR's defence , they do not list it as being compatible. However,
WIN XP will run with it and the errors are intermittent depending on the
applications you are running, ( which made it harder to fault find).
