Hi:

I've been told by some audio / video gurus that this unit is top notch for home
theater. Anyone have any experience on this model?

Thanks

No opinion on the 5700 but I have the little 4805 and love it.
I know a lot of people in the AV business use Infocus exclusively because of
the quality.

For that price get a Sony HS-51.
I have it and it kicks serious butt.

No experience but anything "topnotch" in the front projection field has the
name Runco on it and costs anywhere from ten grand to the price of a
kidney transplant.
You probably wont go wrong with this one, but like most buying these cheap
DLP projectors for front projection on the cheap, you'll be a pioneer, you
know, one of those guys with the arrows in his back.
Been there, done that, have the T-SHIRT, gonna let others "vett" this new
form factor
