Where were you when I needed you?
Are you much more expensive than Smarthome dealer prices?
I'm still waiting for the dumb fucks to send me stuff I ordered before
Christmas. I keep getting stoooopid emails saying something is on back order
and what would they like me to do?
I reply saying send what you have and cancel the rest.
Still waiting....
Service, lads, service.
Do that and you'll have a viable business, I'll never order from those
clowns again.

Since both X10 and Smarthome products can be purchased online
from a number of places, another online source doesn't seem viable.
I'd guess less than a year to disappear.

There's always room for another company that offers good service and
sharp pricing. While the failure rate for new businesses is 50% in the
1st year, if he can get the word out and deliver at a good price he
could make it. Let's wish him every success and give him a try. It's
always better for us to have more options.

Other SmartHome dealers have indicated that SmartHome does not allow
discounting so he's not likely to last long.

I'm in Canada so they had to find a different shipper. Chris, my
contact has been quite good at returning my e-mail's.

While we're being helpful/commercial, I had great service from
AutomatedOutlet.com . I got a huge boxful of smarthome modules.
Everything was in stock, at low prices, and shipping was flatrate
$6.90. It's where I'll shop.

I just wanted to tell everybody that I decided to buy from this place
and all i can say is WOW! I got my order really fast (I'm in the US).
The prices are really good and i got 5% off. My stuff shipped the same

Well I finally received my order from Automation Mania. Everything came
as ordered. It was shipped a day after I ordered but the US Post
service is as bad as Canada Post. Chris was prompt at responding to my
e-mails regarding the late delivery. I'm hoping the shipping problems
can be resolved.

How can you say it's a shipping problem if he shipped the next day? If
you wanted it faster I'm sure you could have paid for overnight or 2nd
day delivery.
