You should start by going to one of the HT/TV websites that offer one
or more FAQs so that you can understand a bit of the terminology and
something of the technology. Then, you can ask the right questions by
telling us what your use and needs are.

BTW, LCD means liquid crystal display.

I bought a DLP from Samsung two years ago and absolutely love it. That
being said, you should definitely check out a buyers' guide like this
