The size of the pictures was probably too big and locked up the player. Have
you tried unplugging it? This is a universal solution for modern equipment
that works sometimes.
Also a disc might have "escaped" and be loose in the player. If you can you
might want to take the lid off and look, but I'd be careful, as most cheap
Ht in a box gear, like most modern electronics, is so integrated for ease of
assembly that it resembles something more organic than machine.
In other words its like whiskey, its made to sell not to use
