I'm still undecided on which direction to take for video distribution. I looked at StarServe and HomeConnect although they were either "overkil"l or "not quite there" respectiveley. (for my requirements)

The new switcher box demonstrated by Kat5 at the UKHA is the prime contender, although not yet released.

I am looking to purchase a Xanatech IR speaker switcher for the audio, this was I can control it "out of sight" via an emitter. This is too much of a problem given I already need to integrate IR cross over to control the B&O equipment although I was unable to locate a PC/RS232 controllable speaker switch, anybody any ideas?

I would appreciate any info on any "cost effective" CAT based AV distribution systems?
