this is a problem that will take care of itself.
Basically you cant paten generic words like "man", "car", etc
What monster is doing is hoping noboidy will challenge them. Companies that
do this sort of thing (and I've seen several) usually wind up with a ton of
legal bills, theirs and the people they sue. Not to mention bad pr.
Whoever is giving counsel to monster is guilty of malpractice, and will
probably get sued themselves
