I would just add that many of the receivers made today have 6.1 or 7.1
capability. Start with 5.1 and if it's enough for you then you've saved
some money, if not just by the extra speakers as desired. BTW, Denon and
Paradigm are good bang for the buck brands.

Then get the 5.1, as it will cause you to spend less
Maybe 7.1 will turn into something down the road but right now its welfare
for speaker manufacturers
