You need a wideband video amp, you can get one from radio shack
Sound like you're complicating your life .
The short of it is your dish receiver is obsolete, and I have a twenty ft
optical that works fine.
At any rate I'm sure that theres a video amp that will fit your needs of
boosting your componet signal, but of course its easier to locate everything
close together
Since you cant do that just be sure to use a booster amp for long cable
runs
