What a tool.
S-video cables are called everything from s-vhs to svhs to s-video, and if
you werent a wet behind the ears pup who doesnt know shit from shinola you'd
know that.
I've been hooking together systems since before you were a gleam in your
moms customers eye
Advocating a certain type of speaker isnt attacking another, from that I
have heard para-what-sis are perfectly nice speakers but having never heard
a pair I really couldnt tell you.
And yeah, there are better speakers than beemers, but for the price you wont
beat them. The 3,000$ maggies were exquisite, as were the 77,000 utopia
grands, but I thought this was a group for mass market home theater advice
What "jeff" needs to do is get the chip off of his shoulder, and the corncob
out of his ass
Your the type of weenie who knows the meaning of a lot of words and
understands absolutely nothing about what they describe
I never said that I was some kind of electronics wizard and if you inferred
that thats YOUR problem, numnutz.
I do know more than you, but than again so does a trained seal

You already replied citing the above quoted text on January 6th. And
you did the same thing on January 18th. And I'm the one that's fucked
up? Your idiocy/ignorance is known to all here. No one constantly
busts my chops for constantly posting erroneous information. It's YOU
they attack, because while I made ONE mistake, you make them
constantly. Why is it so difficult for you to understand the reasons
why you are attacked? Why do you constantly state opinions as though
they are facts? And why do you insist on constantly posting
misinformation? Come on SMARTASS, EXPLAIN TO ME WHY EVERYONE HERE
TREATS YOU LIKE YOU"RE AN UNINFORMED IDIOT? Or haven't you noticed?
Let's see you B.S. your way out of answering this one!

Nah. We'd have to be sexually molesting him to make him believe that...

HEY, I'm not getting a paycheck to argue my point of view, whore
Speakers are the last bastion of emotion in the audio industry thats left,
and a love of music and an instinct for good sound is still important, you
can make decent speakers with a by the numbers approach using generic
drivers in generic boxes but you need a heart for music to make GREAT
speakers
And a drunken sot of an englishman can slap together a better speaker in an
afternoon than a team of Canadian engineers could do in a lifetime

Not everyone, just representatives from the Canadian speaker industry who
are pissed because I bother to point out just how mediocre Canadian speakers
are, well built but no soul whatsoever.
As for making one mistake which one is that, living in a second rate Country
like Canada?
Or being a pompous horses ass who thinks HE knows everything but wasnt even
a gleam in whatever paying customer his mom serviced the night he was
conceived when I was learning about the basics of color TV in electronics
class.
AND finally you seem to be the only one doing the attacking, you argue
sematics that really dont mean a damn thing, like for instance I refer to
s-video cables as svhs cables sometimes, this is because I used these cables
primarily for svhs decks for years, probably while you were getting beat up
in preschool, yeah, this is really a huge crime, better string me up.
Yeah, whores from whatever industry is paying you this week are all the
same, harraung somebody on minor matters and keep pounding away because
somebody might decide not to buy the mediocre product your hawking because
someone in a news group said it was mediocre, never mind the fact that a
listening session will betray that in short order
Do I make mistakes? Sure, but so does everybody else,
one guy in this group said in the same post that the new tv standard was
digital, not hdtv and then turned around and said ED televisions were HDTV
because they were part of the new standard! which would imply that the new
standard is HDTV, which is a contradiction to what he had said earlier.
And yeah sometimes I add something to what I already said, sorry but I didnt
know you could only respond ONCE TO A POST, oh great arbiter of what is
good in newsgroups, I was posting to these groups when they were still
primarily asci II and green screens, assmunch.\
Maybe I post some things on here to spark debate, to stir things up, when I
returned here several months ago it had degenerated to a deal where asswipes
like you who have to read the instructions to program your shiny new clock
radio could lord it over newbies who came here for advice, not knowing the
difference between coax digital cable and coax 75ohm cable, and egomaniacs
like you can feel so good because you do know, not good enough to get it up
for your boyfriend maybe, lets not get carried away, NOTHING could make a
nimrod like you have the ability to do anything but run your mouth,
something you do with great authority, never mind that you have the
personality of a damp paper towel, if your other countrymen are like you it
might explain why your speakers are so bland, you cant take a joke, sarcasm
flys right over your head and autistic children have a better time
understanding inuendo.
Buttwipes like you make cardboard seem exciting by comparison
NOW GET BACK TO PLAYING WITH YOUR DOLLS LITTLE MAN....because your really
boring the pee outta me

Steve, your absolutely clueless!! You know just enough about this hobby to
be dangerous and you spew all over the place as if your an expert, which you
certainly are not. Many of us monitoring these groups have been into this
for a long time and own equipment much better than yours and know what good
equipment sounds like, which you obviously do not. The Canadian's make some
damned fine sounding speakers. Have you never hear of the PSB Stratus
series? Energy? Paradigm? Each of these have speakers that are VERY good
and will smoke the tweeters right off your low end B&W wannabee's. When you
tried to claim your B&W's imaged better than "any" Magnaplaner, you showed
exactly how little you know. You jumped in on one thread trying to explain
what a damping factor was and was so far in left field that it wasn't even
funny. You got schooled, but that didn't stop you. You even went as far as
trying to say the damping factor of an amp is what determines how good it
sounds, and nothing could be further from the truth. Have you never heard a
really good tube amp? But, then again, you probably don't like the sound of
tube equipment. Probably doesn't sound nearly as good as your solid state
receiver with a decent damping factor. No, the gentlemen who your arguing
with is not the only one who disagrees with you, many do and have told you
so. But, each time you get into a squabble with someone, you claim they are
the only person who disagrees. I know, you said the same thing to me. You
really need to know what your talking about before you state something as a
fact, because there are people who know when your wrong (which is fairly
often). Now settle down, do some more reading, listening and learning, and
come back when you have something constructive and intelligent to add.
Until then, give all of us a break!

Steve has been given this good advice on a weekly if not daily basis for
months. He's a troll. He dosen't believe the stupidity that he spews.
He just likes to see our reaction. I gave up on it. I don't like
kill files but I've made an exception in his case. He knows what he
posts is idiotic. That's the reason he posts it.

I see!! I only joined back onto this group a couple of months ago so I
didn't realize his history. Makes sense, I'll stop wasting my time. Thanks
for the info.
