Yeah, I indicated in my 12/15 post you'd have to turn on the VCR to
watch the box. If that's a problem, then if you have enough inputs
you can split the cable box L/R analog audio and composite video outs
with phono plug y-jacks and run one leg to the VCR and the other
directly to the TV.
