Hi

This is slightly off topic, but does anyone have any recommendations with
regard to remote extenders. I have a TV in the bedroom and want to be able
to control AV equipment in the lounge from the bedroom. I already have a
One for All remote extender, but the range is appalling.

Thanks
Neil

Someone else on this group recommended these to me. I bought them and they
work great! Piggybacks the signal on your coax.

Works great, that is, assuming you are feeding your TV with coax...

Thanks to whoever mentioned them previously.

I have a set of the little pyramid things from Radio Shack. I think you can
also get them from smarthome.com. They work great.

I highly recommend this one:

It turns any remote into an RF remote, so you don't have to point it at some
receiver pyramid or anything. It works great for me.

I recommend AGAINST that one. I got one and it quit working in two weeks.
Even when it did work the distance it covered was pretty poor.

Really? Maybe your experience was an exception?

I have the older version of it, and it's been working for me for a year and
a half. The distance is excellent for me, I can use it anywhere in the house
with no problems at all.
