What is the general consensus between these two?
Both have HD available, and now COX has an HD DVR box too. I currently have
DirecTV and the new HD TIVO box, but where I am at now (apartment complex
wired for DTV), there is no HD, so that in a mute point for now and can
still return the box. But I am moving to a condo in less than a month -
which is already wired for COX, and the complete package at that (cable,
internet, and phone). I just talked to COX and the quote they gave me for
their complete package - for ALL movie channels, HD and rent of their HD
DVR, Internet, and phone (with 8 hours of long distance anywhere in the US),
is around $25 LESS a month than I am paying now for DirecTV (with only HBO),
TIVO, SBC phone, and Earthlink DSL (which has be cr*p lately).
So I wonder, is there any horror stories I should know about? Is one any
better than the other? If both are the same, then I think switching to COX
is the best idea and save money.
