Hello All,

I have an InFocus LP350 that has blown 3 bulbs in the last 2 months
(at almost $400 a pop - literally!)

I will contact Infocus tomorrow to see what they can do, but I expect
2 things - 1 big expense, or 2) SOL as the unit is discontinued.

I was really happy with the unit prior to this (The first bulb lasted
2000 hrs and then the trouble started)

Has anybody had similar problems / insight into this projector?

Any recommendations for a replacement - under $3000?

Sitting in a dark room with no Home theater!

Thanks in advance

Tom

It must be the ballast in the projector that is causing the problem?
The ballast is the part that starts the bulb up when the projector is
turned on, and then it sends the signal to the projector's mainboard
telling it to turn the DLP engine on.

If you think it is too expensive to fix, I am always looking for
broken LCD or DLP projectors to fix, to be used for some projects I am
putting together...........
