As someone else mentioned, the range of DVD audio is great, so the levels
maybe lower. Check if your DVD player (or TV) has Dynamic Range Compression
(DRC) - try changing DRC to high which will raise the low volume sounds and
compress the louds sounds. If that doesn't work, perhap you can hook up a
receiver to the TV? A receiver may output a stronger signal than a DVD
player.
