Has anyone ever experienced a C-bus network failing, or more so a unit pulling the network down.

Recently, I had a 12 ch din relay diable its network burden and thus the network "stopped". Took a while to idenstify the problem and thankfully I had the small plug in burden handy.

THe module has given me no problems at all in the past and none since that time. No work was done on the system prior to that either.

Mick,
Burden can be an issue for sure. I had an occasion or 2 where all relays (about 5) all decided to have their burdens enabled!!. The only way i could fix it up was to set each unit to 01 and remove the burder then reset the address. I know others have had similar issues.

These days I prefer to use a hardware item (part number 5500). You can see it and they work.

Thanks

Its good to know I am not the only one.

If it gives me trouble again I will resort to using the hardware burden
