Hi,

I'm a new home owner and currently shopping for a home burglary/fire
monitoring and automation system. The home does not have existing
security system/wiring and I prefer the one I install doesn't require
too much wiring. I'm looking for a system that is easy to install and
use and also provides a mechanism to monitor remotely via internet.

If you could point me to any websites or prior discussion on this
subject, it will be helpful. Also, your experiences and recommendation
will be useful.

Thanks,
Ans

Look at the ELK M1 Gold certainly not the cheapest but you get what you
pay for. You can add wireless zones with a Caddx receiver, I have both
of these. Can control via the web very soon when the network add-on
will be available. This is the best for HomeAutomation/Security.
