Viewing Distance

Hi everyone,

My room is 18' x 18'. I want to purchase a 50" plasma for this room but
wanted to know if the room is too small for a 50" TV. The sofa and
other seats would most likely be anywhere from 12' - 15' away from the
TV.

Thoughts? Opinion?

Sorry about that...I just noticed another post from a day or two ago
asking the same thing (but a MUCH bigger screen). Sorry for not looking
before posting.

If anyone has any comments, however, please post. The 50" will be a
Plasma. Most likely the Panasonic Plasma.

According to THX with a 50" screen the maximum viewing distance is 8
ft and recommended is 5.6'. Go big!!!

I have a projector system with 122" diag and seating at 13' and it
looks great for Hi def images & DVD. Regular TV is bad looking, but
that not why I have a 10Ft screen.

The TV is too small, not the room. I have a 92" diagonal screen and the
seating is 13' away.
