View Full Version : Don't believe the lies Monster component will make your TV High Definition!

Yes!
Any tv within the last 5 years with component cable holes is high
definition but evil manufacturers have not being telling you this and
instead selling heavily marked up tv's with high definition badges
slapped on, when in fact they are exactly the same. So yes your $199
crt you bought from BigW with component in can do "high progressive
interlacing definition" but no cable below $599 will let you do
this...why?
1. Cheap normal cables aren't shielded from cosmic rays, monster uses
electrotrandusic cosmic ray filter in all their cables ensuring that
the signal that leaves your dvd thing is the same pure digital signal
going into your component holes.
2. Cheap cable companies cut costs by not including inline nanotech
passive digital amplifiers that are embedded into the copper, this
allows all your component colour and tint signals to be amplified which
helps to lower signal loss by +128dB and make your signals into high
definiton.
3. Our connectors are the highest quality in the world made from
diamond plated magnesium ribbons.
4. We don't just use oxygen free copper, our copper is free of 02, Co2,
Cu, Hydrogen, Helium and Sulfur. These impurities can reduce
conductivity by up to 100v or 2A and increase resitance by 100 newtons
/ Nm
5. Our cable is packaged to the best possible standards, yes as mundane
as packaging may seem our packaging is the prettiest and most secure
than any other brand. Our packaging is difficult and time consuming for
wouldbe thieves to open up, and in a hurry chances our they'll injure
themselves on our tough plastic. But good packaging means that our
product will not be damaged during transport, cheap brands prefer to
use cheap no-frills packaging which can result in dangerous levels of
shock disrupting the copper fibres causes ghosting, snow, poor colour
and introduce noise which can damage your tv's delicate filter
capacitors.
So when you go to our next AV dealer and ask for the best cable, ask
them can their lower priced cable do all that?
If they say no, ask for Monster if they don't got monster, than you
don't buy.

Re: Are expensive cables a scam?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At Harveys we are expected to sell monster, I try and avoid it as me
talking up monster involves me lying and I don't like lying to people.
$300 HDMI monster vs $30 HDMI? I haven't seen a difference full stop.
I run 10m of Maxcable to my projector picture with that is no
different
than 10m of Monster-3 10M, price difference? a few hundred dollars.
Monster has massive mark ups,
ie Monster THX 1m cost $55 inc gst, sell $99 Monster 3 10m cost around
$300-400 mark, sells for around $700
PureAV by Belkin is very monster like, has monster like packaging,
sells at similar prices but has way better markup, also you can
discount pureAV's stuff alot more, Monster is HIGHLY discouraged from
discounting.

Is it true that adding a Monster cable to your cars fuel tank will

Monster will be entering the market in a few more months offering
complete automotive loom upgrades for all major makes and models. Our
studies have found thar 75ohm shielded coax used for your fuel pump can
increase fuel economy by 23%

Olfda,
So your just a faggy saleman at a chain store, make no money and
probably steal from your employer, wear a bad suit or just some black
pants that you used to wear delivering pizza's for Dominos.
I think you you must have two dicks, because you can not be that stupid
from only pulling one.
Damn, there is some serious venting on here.
Personally, I think it's pretty funny. If you've bothered to come
looking for AV Forums then you should know something...
There are some classics in here Oldfa:
"Cheap normal cables aren't shielded from cosmic rays".
Damn those cosmic rays. I hear some kryptonian in your cable helps cut
that down too.
"Cheap cable companies cut costs by not including inline nanotech
passive digital amplifiers that are embedded into the copper"
Yeah, I have these installed in the nerves to my sphincter so I can
fart louder.
"Our connectors are the highest quality in the world made from
diamond plated magnesium ribbons"
You need to use the word Lazer more. people are allwyas impressed with
lazers.
Hey Tommygun,
Whats to big deal? You seem to be personally offended very easily. Are
there issues below the belt you should be venting in another area of
this forum?
It's nice someone took the time out to take the piss.

It's commendable that you work and also attend Uni, Unfortunately Hardly
Normal would be the last place in the world to buy any Audio, as all they
sell is retail crap,, In other words they sell run of the mill production
cheap stuff. Hardly entry level Hi-end. Strangely enough, they all stock
"monster" cables, which are not even considered entry level, when it comes
to hi-end cables.
They also con people that know no better with these cables,
"look at the superior picture you get with this high-end cable" The facts
are they show a screen with the good [supposed] cable connected in the
composite connection, and the cheap O, in the
RCA or whatever connection. So the representation will always be better, the
same thing would happen if you used the 2 dollar cable in the Composite.
But really if you want the good stuff, go to a dedicated Hi Fi
shop, that only sells Hi Fi. and you will find stuff that a department store
never see's ..
] If your really interested in Hi Fi, you might be better of, going to one
of these dedicated stores where you will learn what Good hi Fi is, as
apposed to the rubbish your conning people into buying now..

Diamond plating is kinda a dialectric, and I wouldn't want to have a

Harveys suits one end of the consumer market, specialist outlets suit
another.
There are far more people out there who can only afford to spend $500
on a sound system instead of $5000 other who will spent at least $5000
on a CD player. Simple as that.
I don't con anyone into buying anything, I myself simply say if you
want high end stuff you go to specialist or you spend more. People who
come to Harveys aren't coming to buy $20,000 B&W speakers or valve
amplifiers, any idiot should know that. A factory work who makes $500 a
week has a pretty smaller budget versus a someone who earns $5000 per
week, what you can afford kinda changes.

Jeez, Mate, This was Funny.
Sorry to see some of the guys did not get the joke !!!!!
On a serious note, a forum is a great place to learn lot of new stuff,
and have involving discussion on technical things. I have learnt heaps
about home entertainment equipment from forums like this and
www.dtvforum.info
So, read on, post on, have a chuckle - and NJOY !
