How about one that couples AND amplifies? Such as

$90 is a bit too much for me, but this seems like the best way to kill
2 birds with one stone... but... does it boost as well as the one you
guys are talking about? Anyone use one of these?

It works but if you're looking to save some bucks there's a seller on
ebay who has the Leviton 6201 coupler/repeaters for $39.95 + $9 postage.
The 6201 is Leviton's older (and still being sold) model but I used one
for years and it does the job. It's a helluva good price! Here's the
