RGB what exactly? RGB Component, RGBHV VGA, RGB SCART? Input, outputs or
both? You've got to be more specific.

It would be most if not all Scart equipped DVD players. You would of course
need an RGB capable TV as well.

I dont get it, why do they bother with scart connectors?
Why not just simply stick a normal COMPONENT input in the back.

I dont know why bother with scart, most aussies don't even know what
the hell it is or what it does
Hi Steve,
The Panasonic DMR-EH50 and EH60 has 2 Scart outputs on them. The 2 models
below.
http://panasonic.com.au/products/details.cfm?objectID=2728 and
http://panasonic.com.au/products/details.cfm?objectID=2817
I just got the EH50 about a week back and it's fantastic. Plays virtually
anything I throw in it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers...

Cambridge Audio Azur 540D is an excellent DVD player with RGB SCART output
and PAL/NTSC Component progressive scan. Toshiba RD-XS32 is a DVD recorder
with both RGB input and output and PAL/NTSC progressive scan.

Just because "most aussies" are uneducated as to the benefits of scart,
isn't a good reason for the manufacturers not to use it.
1 output to do component, s-video, & RGB would be a REAL good reason to use
it.
Long live SCART.

Maybe they're educated enough to value quality over convenience. A pox on
SCART.
