Thank you, those of you who have posted info about CM15a
problems. I nearly purchased one and then thought to
go to Google and search for info about it.

That being said, is there an alternative to the CM15a?
My old CM... whatever isn't working well anymore and
needs replaced.

TIA,
Bruce

There are several. A good overview of the various units - ALL of which
are far better than the CM15a - can be found at www.smarthome.com.
Whether you buy from them or shop elsewhere, their catalog is the best
resource.

I would strongly recommend the USB Powerlinc, there are several versions
out there, one with memory (similar to the CM11A) and a basic one (which
is what I have), these units work pretty well and are supported by most
home automation software.

SmartHome.com sells an RS-232 and USB X10 computer interface. I haven't used
them myself, but they may be worth a look.
