Science fiction or Science Fact
Star Trek has inspired people from all walks of life to think outside the
box and come up with new ways to improve life for us all.
In recognition of these SciNut Convention has several well recognized
professionals from the field of space science to talk about how Trek
inspired them and what is the latest development in the field.
The guests include James Waldie, inventor of the "Mars suit" that was
highlighted on channel 7's "Beyond Tomorrow" Episode 4. And Dr. David Waitt,
a scientist working for the European Space Agency in the adaptation of
science fiction ideas to current technology.
If you would like to hear more from these fascinating people you will need
to attend "Roddenberry's Universe" on Sunday 18th September.

Please note: If you are interested in the media guests in attendance you
will need to attend both days as talks will be happening concurrently in two
