Looking for an app that would allow me to organize my mp3's by
artist/album/genre etc. but then be able to move it to my archos
jukebox. I would use WMP or iTunes but that doesn't recognize my
device.

Anyone know of any progs out there that would organize them, then allow
me to move them onto my archos jukebox?

Thanks a lot. If this is the wrong location, just let me know and sorry
in advance.

This is probably the wrong group. But take a look at J.River's Media
Center. It has a number of organizing and device features. I use it and
it's quite good.

Sorry. I did a search for this and this is one of the groups that came
up with returned postings.

alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.d

The ".d" means discussion, so that is where people talk about mp3's.

Try www.musicmatch.com, I think you will be happy with it. It will let you
rename files, edit tags, it can look up files on line and tell you what
albums they are from and mutch more.

What I am ultimately looking for is a program that would allow me to
dump down the directories (artists/albums/genres) much like how the
Nomad or the iPod is setup, but for my Archos Jukebox that XP
recognizes as a hard drive.

I thought about writing something myself, and have each section
reference a playlist for that particular artist/album/genre, but I am
lazy ;-)

Would musicmatch or music label let me do this, it appears that J River
Media Center does, but haven't tested out yet.
Thanks for all the replies, appreciate it.
