I'd also like to see a 4 channel DSI dimmer. Even a 2 channel dimmer.

The 8 channels currently just never get used in a typical domestic job. As DSI has not been taken up as quickly as was previously thought eg; LV lighting ballasts, the 8 channels are just never used.

As an typical example we would install 1 or 2 rows of DSI pelmet lighting or similar and use 1 or 2 channels only, 4 at a pinch.

CIS could this please be considered?

Cheers

What is a DSI Dimmer, how does it differ from a "standard" dimmer?

Basically its a dimmer that allows the dimming of tridonic ballasts. (fluro light fittings for example cab have tridonic DSi ballasts and be controlled on/off/dim. Up to 100 per channel)
