I now have a box full of X10 wall switches, including three ways, that
either switch on and flicker or flicker and switch off. Everything else
on them works ie. remote control and dimming.

Can anyone point me to the right components to change?

Many thanks

Steve

If you mean only local control doesn't work... there was a mechanical failure
issue with the spring contact on the pushbutton. You may find broken
spring pieces in the contact grease on the circuit board. The problem
may have been resolved in recent production. I've not heard of this problem
with the Decora style wall switches.

The replacement cost of X10 wall switches is less than the cost of repair time.

As I have had to convert from 110v to 240v there is no switch. The
electronics is at fault but I am unsure which components to change.
In the UK wall switches are higher than $50 and so a few of us buy in the
states and change the four components needed to run on 240v.
