For the life of me, I can't figure out how to hook my Sony MDR-RF960RK
phones into my Sony KV-27FS16 Wega/Panasonic PV-V4612 VCR/SA Explorer
3200 cable box system. My problem is I can't figure out where to hook
the phone's R/L RCA jacks into (there is no headphone jack on any of the
components...of course that would have been too easy). The TV does have
monitor and audio (variable) R/L audio outs and I did try them, but
couldn't get any sound from the phones. Help please. Thanks.

That should work, thats how I've got mine hooked to my Panasonic TV.
Maybe check the TV's "audio" menu and make sure that you don't have to
change something.

Maybe the internal speakers have to be off for some strange reason?

Double check the wire that plugs into your transmitter from the TV.
Once, mine wasn't plugged in all the way and it wouldn't work. Bout
drove myself nuts trying to figure out why...LOL

Also, I would think that TV would have "fixed" AND "variable" output.
