DVD movies sound awesome with Audigy 2 card, but it doesn't have DPL2x,
and other DSP thingys. I have (12") 60w bookshelf speakers running a
analog CREATIVE 15w 2.1 channel amp.. It sounds great but only
temporary.

Can someone tell me what options there are to hook up all these BIG
(6.1), 120 w++ speakers from a sound card.. There is digital spdif on
the card but what kinda AMPLIFIER is needed to decode it and pump it
out ????

NO IDEA
Thanx for any help..

Well, if it has SPD/IF out on it whichI think it does then you need to
connect it to an AV receiver such as a 5.1 Digital Receiver with SPD/IF
input on it.

Look at some of the basic yamaha ones for around $399, most basic
receivers have at least 1xSPD/IF connecton on them.

I've been able to get dolby digital 5.1 from my SB Live 5.1 (Dell OEM
card) by connecting a mono (not stereo) RCA cable. I conenct the 3.5mm
connection into the card and the RCa plug into the digital, coaxial
input on my A/V receiver.
