Panasonic 86cm 200A "Noise"

Hi there,

Panasonic TX-86-200A -

I have noticed a lot of this group members have this model television
(Including the 76cm model)

Does anyone have a problem with the transformer noise? I have read somewhere
(Before purchasing the unit) that the transformer noise is somewhat
noticeable which I did pick up in the beginning but now it seems worse.

I have had mine for about 6 months and it seems to be getting louder and
even emitting through my old Ht amp (1990 model Yamaha DSP)

I am a half deaf boilermaker of 20 yrs or so and could be guilty of not
noticing it until now??

Just wondering what other owners experience with this unit?

I've got an 8 month old 86cm 200a and no probs here.....yet (touch wood)!!
