I've used these sensors - Visonic K-940 Petsmart (http://www.visonic.com/visintl/doclib.nsf/0/243E6FB5A3503EC5C225668C00387844) sensors, which have a special lense that does not pick up horizontal heat signatures under 18kg
I had a problem with our 2 cats setting off our alarm when they both jumped off our bed when parcels were delivered, thinking we were about to walk in the front door
