V405 and V406 firmware make mention of the "telephone interface" now supporting the ability to interface to an Intercom System.

Ie: You hook up a door intercom station to the telephone interface,
then when someone pushes your doorbell, it triggers the Thinkboxx,
the thinkboxx then rings your mobile and connects you through to the
front door station to converse ( just as if you were in the house).

will science wonders never cease.

I have yet to see any cabling details, wiring requirements or any other info on this, any one out there got the gossip on this.....

It requires a slight mod to the telephone interface board as well

Plugs into that little DIN plug on the telephone interface.

Yes it was fairly obvious as to where it plugs, but the current documentation states additional hardware/components required.......and then fails to list details.

may as well have not mentioned it at all,

My stock 6 cylinder car would probably do 200mph .............
if i strap 12 jato rockets onto the roof............
toyota don't write that in the manual........

Need to replace R108 and R109 (located near J4) with 0 ohm resistors

Connections for the J4 the MiniDIN

Pin2 Audio Out
Pin3 Audio In Gnd
Pin4 LED
Pin5 Audio Out Gnd
Pin6 Audio In
Pin7 Switch

You will need to add an amplifier to the output on pin 2 to drive a speaker and some thing to bring the MIC level to line level for the input. (Pin6)
the LED and Switch correspond the output and input in the new thinkboxx software.
