Hi all,

After scouring Google and this group, I'm pretty sure I'm attempting something
that has never been done before, so if anyone can offer me some help, I'd
greatly appreciate it.

I purchased an Orbit sprinkler system module:
http://www.berryhilldrip.com/GardenAcces1.htm#Perfect for the Home Gardener or
Small Farmer!
(sorry for the crazy link) -- it's the additional valve that plugs into the
main unit.

This unit is controlled by a three-lead 1/8" headphone jack. Apply current
across the red and white leads and the valve opens, apply it to the black and
white leads and it closes. The exact voltage is something of a mystery to me,
but I have been able to get it to work successfully with 24v.

Okay, so what I want to do is control this thing with an X-10 UM506 Universal
Module (http://www.x10.com/products/x10_um506.htm). What I'd like to do is
take it apart, and connect the leads that actuate the relay switch to the
Orbit module so that an X-10 On signal would turn the valve on, and an Off
signal would turn it off.

Is this possible?
