Hi Everybody,
I was thinking of making a switchmode based LED dimmer that works on a 0-10V input. But if the guys at CIS want to develop a C-Bus LED dimmer first, fine by me! It would be great to be able to control some Luxeon 1W or 5W LED's with C-Bus.
Regards,
Michael.

Howdi Michael,
Have you run it passed them yet? be interesting to get their opinion on the viability of the product.
Cheers

I wanted to get hold of a C-Bus development kit. But not really wanting to work with microcontrollers and software, I didn't go much further down that path.
I then started looking at just working on the dimmer circuit and using a 0-10V output unit to control that. Then I got engaged :D and my spare time has been redirected!
I haven't spoken to CIS about it but I can imagine that a LED control unit could be a viable product.
Regards,
Michael.

Yes I tend to agree. LED outputs are becoming quite popular and affordable options.
The other sex can be a distraction thats for sure.
Cheers
