OK -SO we've al spent $1000's on awesome gear and love our home theatre...
but when someone comes round and says "ok - looks great - but show me
something that sounds good?" - What do you play?

Whats the best clip for showing off your humoungous subwoofer?
Jurassic Park - TRex approach?
Finding Nemo - The tap on the aquarium glass?

What shows off the wonders of your direction effects best?
Saving Private Ryan - Omaha landings with overhead bullets?
DareDevil (DTS) - wakes in hospital with newly acquired 'super-hearing' ?
Pearl Harbour - Japanese planes flying overhead?

What do you think - which scenes really get the most from your equipment?

I think the sound mix on Citizen Kane is excellent.

The Matrix foyer scene is a pretty standard show-off piece, as is Saving
Private Ryan.

There's a lot of great stuff in The Fifth Element, particularly the taxi
ride. The opening credits of Spider Man are pretty heavily surround-mixed.

More recently, I was really impressed with the rain in the chess-shop
scene in Hero. That's also a very pretty movie for showing off your
screen.
