So if I bought it and in 3 months Foxtel/Austar did a deal with some of the
broadcasters, making even just one channel encrypted, you'd honor the
guarantee?

I don't think so. You can't guarantee something out of your control.

I have very carefully read OP and can't find the word "guarantee" anywhere.
What is your point?

Or you are upset because Foxtail didn't tell you that you can have FREE TV
channels and you committed yourself for 2 years to pay for repetition crap
full of ads?

What a clever choice you made to pay mind controlling TV from the same guy
Murdock controlling all other media in Australia.

We had Galaxy and TARBS, boyh went under recently. Foxtail may follow due to
lack of interest of Australians to pay for crap.
Are they giving you lifetime guarantee?

Free Satellite TV is here to stay whatever the channels may be and it is
here all the time regardless that we can't control what is broadcasted.
Recently we had a lot of additional FREE channels as more and more countries
like to provide news and entertainment. There are no ads on any of this
channels just sometimes different political opinion. It's called freedom of
speech in democratic world. Hey, we are free in Australia !!!

You will probably find that over time , most of those UBI services will
encrypt except TRT Turkey,
It's standard practice, to allow them to remain FTA until intrest builds
up, then if you still want them , you will need to subscribe

There is no guarantee about anything FTA remaining FTA, and certainly no
receiver supplier will guarantee any services that are FTA, remaining so.,
it's outside there control.

As for the program you have listed , the only thing with English Audio, are
the God Channels, Hallelujah brother , Hallelujah
