The Topfield TF7000PVR looks like it may be the
all-in-one solution that I'm looking for (?).

Twin tuners...200 gig HDD / Dual recording.....PIP(HD+SD).

Scart...S-Video... RGB...VGA.... HDMI....YPbPr....CVBS ....

Linux operating system.

Yes but from my understanding the new Topfield will still not be able
to record Foxtel. Will that be a problem for you? It certainly is for
me.

Nope, but it'll be worth the short wait to see what it's full
capabilities are.

You might also consider Dreambox 7000 // 7020, will do what a Topfield will
do and a hole lot more, if you undertand "Linex"
